Enjoy a relaxing day of fishing in Hunstanton at the Searles fishing lakes. Located at the far end of Searles Leisure Resort, our two peaceful fishing lakes in Norfolk overlook green meadows and the adjoining golf course, with The Fountain Sports Bar & Restaurant conveniently located nearby.

Our fishing lakes are open to everyone, so you don’t need to be staying at Searles Leisure Resort to enjoy a day of coarse fishing in Hunstanton.

The two lakes are connected by a cascading weir and are well stocked with roach, rudd, tench and carp up to 18lb, making them a great spot for both leisurely fishing and more experienced anglers.

Full Day Fishing Ticket – £10.00
Half Day Fishing Ticket – £6.00

Please visit The Fountain Sports Bar & Restaurant or the Golf Shop to purchase your fishing ticket before setting up.

What You’ll Need for Fishing at Searles

Please bring your own fishing equipment, including a landing net and unhooking mat. Fishing equipment is not provided as part of your ticket.

A valid rod fishing licence is also required.

If you need fishing tackle or bait during your visit, Angler’s Corner, 22 Westgate in Hunstanton, is located nearby.

Fishing Rules & Conditions

To help protect our fish and ensure everyone can enjoy the lakes safely, please follow our fishing rules:

• Barbless hooks only
• No keep nets
• Strictly no ground bait
• One rod per angler
• Children under 14 must be supervised
• Fishing is only permitted during the stated opening hours
• Unhooking mats are compulsory – fish must not touch the ground
• Landing nets must be used – fish must not be swung to hand
• All rigs must be tether-free so that the load will fall free if the line breaks
• Fishing is permitted from the platforms only
• A valid fishing licence is required
