With a variety of things to see and do throughout the year, Sandringham offers opportunities to relax and unwind, exercise and clear your mind and gives a fascinating insight into the heritage of The Royal Family.
The dog friendly Royal Parkland with courtyard featuring the Shop and Restaurant is open all year.
The Parkland covers over 243 hectares with way-marked trails for cycling or exploring by foot and a large children’s woodland play area.
Sandringham Courtyard in the Parkland can be accessed via the car parks with Take Away Café for food on the go, Restaurant offering brunch, lunches, cakes and Afternoon Tea and ice cream kiosk during the summer months.
Sandringham Shop is also at the Courtyard offering an extensive collection of artisan Norfolk products, from beautiful home and garden ware to country attire.
Sandringham House – The main eight ground floor rooms including annual exhibition, are regularly used by the Royal Family, with decor and contents remaining very much as they were in Edwardian times with a wealth of history inside.

Sandringham Gardens – Set over 25 hectares (60 acres) and enjoyed by the Royal Family and their guests when in residence
• The more formal Gardens are open from April – October.
• The grounds have been developed in turn by each Monarch since 1863 when King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra purchased the Estate.
• Tickets for 2026 available in January.
St Mary Magdalene Church – The parish church of St Mary Magdalene, has held memorials to many members and relations of the Royal Family from Queen Victoria onwards. It is used regularly as a place of worship by the Royal Family and Estate staff.

Accessibility Information:
Dogs are welcome in the 243 hectares Royal Parkland to join you on a walk and water stations are available.
There are quite long distances to cover between our car park and Sandringham House, and around the Gardens and Royal Park. As the property and surroundings are historic there may be uneven surfaces.
• A free shuttle buggy is available to and from the House from inside the Gardens entrance
• Accessible toilets and changing facilities are available at the Courtyard
• Sandringham House, and all facilities in the Courtyard; Sandringham Terrace Café, Restaurant and Shop are fully accessible
• Wheelchairs may be hired free of charge on a first come first served basis with a refundable deposit, please enquire at the ticket office.
• All assistance dogs are welcome in Sandringham House and Gardens.
