Searles Leisure Group owns and operates a large holiday resort, a luxury country house hotel, 2 golf courses and a sea tours company. Searles is one of the UK’s most established and trusted privately owned companies operated by the same family for 4 generations and 83 years.
Following on from the success of team GB at the 2012 London Olympics, Searles have won two gold medals of their own. ‘Visit England’ have awarded our resort 5 stars ‘Excellent’ in their grading scheme and MMM magazine awarded their highest ever score to our Touring park, making Searles a Premier Park for 2013.

TWO GOLD AWARDS - Following on from the success of team GB at the 2012 London Olympics, I am delighted to announce that Searles have won two gold medals of their own. ‘Visit England’ have awarded our resort 5 stars ‘Excellent’ in their grading scheme and MMM magazine awarded their highest ever score to our Touring park, making Searles a Premier Park for 2013.
NEW ACCOMMODATION - To enhance our holiday homes we have modernised our Silver Lodges and added new deluxe homes, we’ve also improved the outside patios for the Royal range and as you liked them so much, we have added more hot tubs to more of our homes.
TOURING PARK - We are also improving our Premier touring park, with new camping pitches in a lovely location. Vince has also had his paint brush out and the wash blocks are now gleaming.
FACILITIES - Our facilities leading from our market square, ‘La Piazza’ have also been smartened and upgraded including the indoor pool flooring, changing rooms and showers and also the clubhouse washroom facilities.
GREAT ENTERTAINMENT - I am delighted to also announce that Mark and all his team are returning to provide their excellent brand of entertainment for your participation and viewing pleasure. Our young guest’s daytime activity program is also being improved with the use of captain willies as the headquarters, and for 2013 all children staying on resort will have FREE admission to this activity centre. We also have improved the cabaret programme for the Mariners Bar and for the summer school holidays we have 5 excellent bands playing in the Sundowners.NEW ONLINE BOOKING SERVICE – We are also improving our online booking service, making it easier for you to find the best accommodation for your chosen holiday dates.
