A range of daytime and evening activities to keep our young guests busy
As a family resort, we realise the importance of keeping our younger guests occupied. Searles provides a wide range of daytime and evening activities for all age ranges of children. Play areas, pools, fun-bikes, go-carts, astro-putting and much more are available to ensure there is never a dull moment.
Kids Activities
From the day you arrive to the day you leave there are a host of activities for the kids to enjoy. During the day our resident entertainment team organise sports, games, quizzes, competitions and much more. You might even catch a glimpse of Searles’ famous ‘Sidney the Sealion’ as he makes his way around the resort!
Tiny Mites Music Club
Meet the Tiny Mites with music, movement, key stage learning and lots of fun for age 6 months to 10 year olds! Sessions are packed with original pop songs on children’s themes such as ‘Fly in the Sky’ and ‘Be a Kangaroo’. Sing, dance and play in these imaginative classes. Songs are brought to life with props, puppets and instruments. Whether your child is tapping, shaking or even singing on the microphone, Tiny Mites Music is a delight for all!
Children’s Club
For children from 1 – 12 years. Offering various activities, workshops, arts and crafts, quizzes, face painting, educational beach trips, story time and shows to keep them busy come rain or shine. Competition prizes to be won every day during the summer months. A detailed welcome pack and newsletter will be available upon arrival at reception with free membership and club card.

Story time with Captain Willie
Children will be thrilled by exciting tales and adventures such as ‘The Seal Island Mystery’ read by Captain Willie himself.
In the evenings we have ‘Children’s Funtime’ – a whole programme of entertainment for the children to join in. These include talent competitions, fancy dress, party games, disco dancing and much more.
Kids Activities for 2-8 year olds.
Captain Willies Activity Centre is designed for children in this age group, and the parks play areas are ideal too, the entertainment team put on regular activities ideal for this age group including; face painting, puppet shows, dance clubs and pottery painting. All sporting facilities are available with adult supervision (excluding golf).
Kids Activities for 8-13 year olds.
Searles Kids club is set for the 8 – 13 year olds (see section opposite), fun bikes and scooters can be hired from the hire shop with adult supervision. There are also the indoor and outdoor swimming pools, large sports field & astro-turf pitch for basketball and football with friends. Fishing, tennis courts, astro putting, golf and play areas are all accessible for under 14’s with adult supervision. Pool tournaments Junior Disco Dancing Competition, Crazy Curling fun and more entertainment activities all regularly take place and aimed at 8 – 13 year olds.
Young adults Activities.
The older age group 14+ are able to use all of the leisure facilities on site including the swimming pool, golf course, fishing, tennis courts and hire shop without the supervision of an adult. Broadband internet stations are available in the plaza so the teenage group can keep in contact with friends. The entertainment team put on pool and table tennis competitions, the evening entertainment will keep the older age groups entertained as well.
Captain Willie Activity Centre
Captain Willie’s Activity Centre at Searles Leisure Resort is a great soft play area, bring the kids along for action packed fun. The coffee and snack area enables parents to relax and watch the kids let off some steam. Sessions run hourly, parties also available with advance notice. (Charges apply).

Fun-Bikes, Scooters & Pedal-Karts
Let the kids roam the holiday park with Searles’ very own cycles, electric scooters and pedal-karts - a great way to see the whole park!
Evening Entertainment
All the fun takes place in the Sundowner Bar, where the entertainment team invites children to join in the games, competitions and shows.
Swimming Pools

In Caring for Environment Sidney Says...
Please save water whenever possible: When brushing teeth, Washing your face, Using water in the Kitchen or Bathroom.
Please remember to turn off Lights, TV's and other Machines when not in use.
Please put Rubbish in Bins In your unit or at the nearest Bin Point
Please Recycle Rubbish Put your Paper, Plastics in the "Green Recycle only" Bins located in centre of the park by the Prestige area.
Please use the Searles Land Train or The Coasthopper. To save using the car too much, Please use either the Land train to get you into town, or the Coast Hopper or Bus to explore places
Please keep dogs on leads To avoid scaring off nesting birds or Wildlife. Please make sure you clear up after your dog with a bag or a "poop Scoop"
Caring for the Wildlife - Please look after our Wildlife. There are many Birds and Animals to been seen and enjoyed on the Park.
