ACCESS STATEMENT
Searles Leisure Resort has lodges, caravan holiday homes and tent and touring pitches.
We have disability parking bays adjacent to the Reception and Clubhouse areas and apart from the initial entrance road which is on a gentle slope, all the remaining site is on level ground.
There are wide, automatic sliding doors to our Reception which has a level access. Our aim at all times is to give the best possible service to all our customers.
We have a hearing Induction Loop in reception and our staff will be happy to enlarge on the photocopier any information required which may not already be available in large print.
Our reception area is normally open from 8.00am to 9.00pm and we have Security Staff on duty 24 hours a day.
We are extremely safety conscious and impose a 5mph speed limit throughout the site. There are clearly defined speed bumps and each one has a footpath and wheelchair access alongside.

In addition to the disabled accommodation have 2 x 4 Berth lodges, 6 x 6 Berth lodges, 3 X 8 Berth Lodges and four Prestige Caravans which all have ramp access.
All the tent and touring pitches are on level ground.
Searles Bars, Clubhouse, Restaurant, Gymnasium, Supermarket, Laundrette, Fish and Chip shop and Arcade are at ground level with wide entrance doors.
There is a wide access area between the bars and the seating area and we are more than happy to reserve tables on the perimeter of this area if required.
Searles Hire Shop has range of wheelchairs and mobility scooters which can be hired and reserved in advance of your holiday.
There is a ramp access to our Country Club which is then all on one level. The facilities here comprise a Golf Course, Driving Range, Astro Putting, Tennis Courts, Bowling Green and Fishing Lakes, as well as its own bar and restaurant. There is a toilet and shower for disabled use in addition to Ladies and Gents toilets and showers.
We operate our own Sea Tours service and both our "Sea lion" and "Wash Monster" boats have wheelchair access.
We also have a Hairdressing and Beauty Salon. Although these facilities are located on the 1st floor, we are more than happy for any clients who have difficulty in negotiating the stairs to have these services provided in their caravan or lodge.
Searles indoor swimming pool is equipped with a disabled hoist for assisted water entry.
We have toilets with disabled facilities in our Clubhouse and Restaurant and toilets and showers with disabled facilities in our Swimming pool area, Country Clubhouse and Tent and Touring areas.
Dogs are allowed on our Tent and Touring area as long as they are not on our "Dangerous Dogs" list and we have an exercise area reserved for dogs on leads. Assistance Dogs are welcome on site.
The nearest Railway station to Searles is at King's Lynn. For details of train times phone 0845 748950. There is a regular Bus service from Hunstanton to King's Lynn via surrounding villages every 30 minutes Monday to Saturday and hourly on Sundays. A Coast hopper Bus service also runs daily from King's Lynn via Hunstanton and on to Cromer or Great Yarmouth. Buses leave from the Bus Station in the centre of town and occasionally from Oasis Way which is the road between Searles and the main A149.
