Searles Leisure Resort has won a Highly Commended Award in the Holiday Park / Holiday Village category at the prestigious Visit England Awards for Excellence 2015 Ceremony.
A Highly Commended Award is a considerable achievement and recognises Excellence in Tourism in England. Searles were presented with their Highly Commended Award at a glittering Awards Ceremony which was held on 11 May 2015 at The Sage, Gateshead.
Commenting on the Award James Berresford, Visit England’s Chief Executive said “It is a great achievement to win a Highly Commended Award in a field of very high quality applications. The Award places Searles in the top five businesses for excellence in their category in England. I warmly congratulate them on this achievement.”

This latest accolade for Searles comes after winning Best Holiday Park in Norfolk at the EDP/ VisitNorfolk Awards last November. Holidaying at Searles or purchasing a holiday home in our country park means guests and owners will be spending their leisure time at one of England’s finest and most desirable holiday locations, which has always been our goal.’
We are very proud to have been awarded The Best Holiday Park in Norfolk in the Tourist Awards hosted by the EDP and Hoseasons.
The EDP/Hoseason Awards, put a spotlight on deserving businesses and individuals right across Norfolk.
We received the prestiguous award for "Best Holiday Park & Village in Norfolk 2016"
Striving for Perfection in HunstantonAt Searles Holiday Park we always strive to make sure that our visitors get exactly what they expect, hopefully a little bit more. The fantastic award from the EDP is an accolade that we are all very proud of at Searles. It is, however, something that did not come to us as a surprise. Some Holiday Park Clients Comments
"Fantastic site. Arrived here without a booking having left a truly awful site early. The staff were fantastic as was all the facilities. The toilets and showers were huge warm and never busy. Lovly private wash basins which I find really useful not wanting to shower twice a day. The indoor pool was great, never too busy. Entertainment surprisingly good. Catered for older people as well as children. We extended our holiday by a day because we enjoyed it so much. We will be back again as soon as we can. Price was really good as well" - Motorhome Visitors
"We have been to Searles for several years, this year being the first time in a Lodge. Our accommodation was clean, spacious and in our opinion, good value for money. Having previously stayed in our tent, and other static caravans.
The on site facilities were great, the pools were nice, having recently been refurbished. There was a slide and inflatable sessions in the late afternoon for the children, and children's entertainment through the day and into the evening. There are 2 clubs one for families and an adults only area.
There is a on site Nisa shop, Chip shop, Laundrette, Hire shop, indoor and outdoor play areas, several restaurants and Gas sales. Searles also provide a land train which is free around the site, and runs into town for 60p for one stop, or £2 return. Well worth using if going into town from the touring area as it's quite a long walk!
Nearby you have a Marstons two for one pub and a Tesco store, Kings Lynn is a short bus ride away with busses stopping outside the park. The town is the usual seaside town, lots of local shops, doesn't appear to have been taken over by big brands, except small Tesco and Sainsburys store, Boots and the usual Banks!"
"Great facilities on this site and all under one roof. Toilet block cleaned very frequently throughout the day. Lots to see and do around the site and on it. When we booked we wanted electric as we were stopping for ten nights. We thought we were unlucky but when we got there we were on the top field with no electric which is better as the electric pitches are all on top of each other and many were at the side of the road which is a hazard for people with small children. Been twice and would go again as it is a really good site."
